The rumour that I have recently found out to be true is that RCMP members who do a 4 year posting in Nunavut can have confirmation of their next posting IN WRITING in the province of their choice. This is a huge deal! I'm aware that an isolated, fly-in posting will have it's challenges, but it seems like a good opportunity. Dev and I are currently looking into it and praying about it. I hope that if we're not meant to go that the door will close and we we'll know for sure. If we did get to go North, I would hope that we enjoy ourselves an embrace the different climate, culture and surroundings...it's a once in a lifetime kinda thing. Anyway, just a thought.
